Caroline Colborne-Baber, Veterinary Surgeon |
Caroline trained to be a vet at the Royal School of Veterinary Studies and qualified in June 2004. She then moved to Bucks and worked in Newport Pagnell for 3 years before joining Icknield in June 2007. Caroline takes an active role in training our student Nurses after qualifying as a nurse assessor in Jan 2006. She enjoys training and teaching the nurses whilst they study for their NVQ qualification. Caroline has worked solely in small animal practice and enjoys surgery and has developed an interest in small animal acupuncture, which she now offers to clients in the practice. Out of work, Caroline enjoys hill walking, spending time in the garden (when its sunny!), and cooking (which is often tested on the rest of the practice). She owns a wonky-legged black and white rescue cat called Cluedo. |
Jim Littlewood, Veterinary Surgeon |
Jim Littlewood graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London and worked in a mainly small animal practice in Colchester, Essex until he joined the practice in March 2006. Brought up in Cheshire he imagined that he would spend his career on and around dairy farms however he had a total change of heart whilst studying and has worked exclusively with small animals since graduating. Enjoying all aspects of what the profession has to throw at him Jim has particular interests in Anaesthesia and Feline Medicine. Along with fellow vet Jenny Cantrell, Jim works at both our surgery in Harpenden and main surgical and diagnostic centre in Luton.
